Hello. I am having a problem with my router WRT54G V.5. I am trying to forward ports for Azureus. I also use ZoneAlarm and I am also forwarding the ports trough my firewall. The problem I am having is that I have to change the port numbers on my router in order to not have a nat problem while using Azureus. For example Azureus and my firewall use port 48982 for TCP. If I were to forward that port on the router Azureus shows its firewalled. If I change it to 48983 then Azureus shows no nat problem. I find this weird and it may also be affecting my dl speeds. Can someone please help?

Try this guide as a help for you on how to forward your router.

I hope it works out for you.

Maybe you didn't change the port opened in ZoneAlarm when you opened the ports on your router. Do you have a modem that may also have a firewall in it?

When you have everything set up, you should use a web service to check if that port is opened. Try using this site:

https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

It works pretty well. Also, you should look up http://www.lvllord.de/ if you get bad download connections with XP SP2. Just follow the directions to change the half-open connections.

If Im online, Im usually on Steam:
