I am finishing my new computer, and I need a graphics card and monitor.

For my graphics card I am looking at the 8800 series. I am on a really tight budget, so in no way can I get a gtx even though I would love one. Instead I am most likely going to get the gts 320, because its 100 dollars cheaper than the gts 640. Is this a smart move??? I am looking to play games on my computer, but I can only spend the extra 100 dollars if totally necessary.

Next I need a monitor. I want to get at least a 19 inch monitor, and I need to stay under 200 dollars. I found a two great monitors: the Acer AL2016WBbd Black 20" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 800:1 and the SCEPTRE X20WG-1080P Black 20.1" 5ms(GTG) supported Windows Vista Certified DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 , and both of them are only 179 dollars each. Which is better??? Also is this a good buy? One more question, how is 5ms (GTG) different from just 5 ms?

Lastly, I have 1 gig of 6400 ram. If I don't get the gts 640 and get the 320 instead I could probably afford two more gigs of 6400 ram. Should I go ahead and do that?

Thanks for all your help in advance!

- below are the specs to my computer

I have an antec 180 case, a evga nforce 680i lt mobo, a intel core 2 duo 4300 (overclocked at 3ghz).. The 320MB version is fine for playing games at the 1680x1050 resolution those screens support.
Buy the 320MB 8800GTS, the Sceptre monitor (better than the acer by far), and get 2GB of RAM.

Yea, get the 320mb version.

What games do you want to play? I know the 8800gts 320 will handle all the games out now at highest settings, but when it comes to crysis and dx10 games, I think you might be falling behind on those.

I may have misundersrtood, but did you say you were going to get 2 more gb of ram and add that to the gig that you allready have?

If that's what you meant then I would only get 2gb since that is enough, and put it in duel channel. That way you will save yourself some more money and still get the same performance.

Ah yes well spotted. Although if you play Stalker, 3GB is still recommended.
