DS Wifi Problem PLZ Help!

When i try to connect to wifi on pkmn diamond and mp hunters it says the acess points security is not supported. I later found out i need to change the security from wpa to wep so i change it to shared and put the encryption as wep it doesnt connect to the internet even on my computer and on the ds it still says security setting is not supported so i have to change back to wpa so what should i do? Thanks in advancd!
