My Dvd drive isn't reading dvd's! It used to, but then just stopped. However, it reads my games on dvds and even writes to dvd. So why not the movies? I have cyberlink power dvd if that helps.

Have your tried playing the dvds with anything else besides cyberlink?
Try another player like wmp or vlc.

Is it only certain ones or ones that used to play before?

You can try removing it through Device Manager, then reboot, but that clicking sound indicates it may be time to get a new burner.

It should be under warranty, then. Contact whoever you purchased it from, but first, go to the website of whoever manufactured the drive, and see if they have a way to test if it is bad.

BTW, did you do what I suggested in my previous post?
