Aopen DUW1608/ARR will not reconize DVDs

My Aopen DVD/CDROM will no longer see DVDs. It will see and burn cds. I have uninstalled the drive and reinstalled no help there. I have the lastest driver. Any suggestions on this problem?

Uninstall the controller (probably the secondary)that the drive is connected to and reboot.
