hi guys. im very new to modding ds's and i just followed the ds modding instructions given in the instructional thread. when i try to load up the r4ds card however the top screen of the ds has the "m3 ds simply" logo but the bottom ds screen says "the hardware is not compatible". i am pretty sure i followed all the directions you guys have given. what may be the problem?

oh ya i dragged and dropped the game "tetris attack" to try out the m3 ds simply program.

please help me out guys.

Your using the wrong firmware, the guide has a link only to the M3 firmware, as you have an R4 you need to download the R4 firmware from http://www.r4ds.com

Both devices are identical and their firmware is identical, but without modification they can't run the firmware of the other.

hi im playing tetris ds and it works pefectly. im just curious, what is the "server_gui.exe" file in the tetris folder?

Sounds like a file to run on your computer, you could probably then connect your DS wirelessly to the computer and play multiplayer against someone somewhere else (a bit like Nintendos WFC) I'm just guessing though as I havn't used that homebrew game for a long time (used it once when someone else was having difficulty with it for some reason)
