I can't seem to get them to back up properly. There is a copy protection notice at the beginning which wont transfer to the backup anbd stops it playing.

Any ideas?

A bit more information on what your using and what hardware would be nice, also have you been able to back other things up with your current method?

I agree w/ nobbi'77 , a bit more info would be cool.

If doing episode disc though I use this method.

FULL-DISK

DVD Decrypter ----- Rip all files

DVD2One 1.30 ----- Full-Disk & Variable Compression (I normally take only AC3 6CH)

Nero 6 Ultra ---- As usual , as in DVD-Video burn

Job done !! : )

I've done these two with CloneDVD and it worked fine. You need AnyDVD which will remove all the protection and any FBI warnnings etc.
