Need help burning 2 movies to 1 dvd-9

I have been trying to search for answers to this for a while now and it seems like the only thing I can find is information on how to merge multiple movies to a dvd-5. I have done this several times using shrink's re-author function to merge multiple files into a single Iso and then burn it using Imgbrn to a DVD-5.

But, I am having trouble doing this to a dual layer dvd. I keep getting errors about the layer break, such as "Unable to find any cells that could be used for the layer break!" My goal is to combine 2 or maybe even 3 movies to a single dvd-9. I dont care about menu's or extras, just the movie itself.

If anyone is experienced with this an could give me guidance, I would greatly appreciate it.
