Try DVD Decrypter for ripping your DVD's to your PC and still keeping them in DVD Format
OR
Use Free DVD Ripper 2.25 from here if you want to rip your DVD's to avi, mpeg etc.
It is free so don't worry.

my highest recommendation to you would be to spend the money on the anydvd clonedvd combo from here. You will not regret it, and should not have another problem for the immediate future. You can give them a 21 day free trial if you like, then purchase.

Is there really that much difference between the companies? I see that you recommend clonedvd but I've been researching and I see sites like DVD Cloning Software and TopTenReviews that recommend 1 click dvd copy and dvd cloner as do many other sites.
Why do you recommend clonedvd so highly?

I'm not sure about dvd cloner as I've never heard of it, bur as for 1click dvd copy you are required to purchase a new license every single year if you want updates for it. In fact, the original poster stated the reason he was exploring other options was due to the inability of 1clickdvd copy to rip newer movies.
Clonedvd and Anydvd combo from slysoft have free lifetime updates. But if you are going to buy it, buy it soon as the prices increases quite a bit Jan 1st. (same price, but changing from US dollars to the Euro)
I always take those "professional" reviews with a grain of salt, you never know what incentives or kickbacks each company is giving the reviewer. I don't think you can find better reviewers than users, who make the purchases and use the products on a regular basis.
There are also free alternatives which work just as well as paid versions, like dvdfab HD decrypter for instance.

you're right, buy those programs, because that review says they're the best. What do the users in this site know?

I still use Ripit4me 1.7.1.0 for alot of my discs. Those that won't back up, I use DVDFabHDDecrypter.

Thanks res2cue,
CloneDVD is great and thanks for the advise about the price increase. With Anydvd it copies all movies flawlessly. Awesome software!
Thanks again.
