can someone please tell me best the dvd converter & burning tool besides Nero?

ConvertXtoDVD - great one too though the menus at this point aren't as 'fancy' as Nero Vision's.

What problems are you having with Nero?

Ok - in my experience ConvertX is faster than Vision but don't look for lightning speeds out of either. Or any converting (for avi's, mpeg4, wmv etc) software.

How long is it taking you with Vision? What are your pc specs like ram and processor speed.

Keeping up on the pc maintenance like disc defrag, disc cleanup, registry cleaner and virus scans?
Multitasking will also slow it down.
