Ok I'm not sure whats going on but as of late I am unable to get videos I backup to play on my DVD player(Television). I use DVDecryptor and it says it works fine. I select it as a file not ISO. IT tells me everything is ok. Then I run Nero and select main movie only and it says everything is ok upon completion. When I put it in my DVD player attached to my television it does not recognize the DVD, but it will play fine in my burner using Windows media player. Any thoughts on what is going on?

What media are you using like Sony +R 16x. Switch media or get a new spindle?
Burn speed you're using? Might want to try taking it down a notch to see if that helps.

How about the drive - firmware up to date?

Might also what to clean the lens of the player with some canned air or a dvd lens cleaner.
