hi, I have a r5 DVDR and it is supposed to have 2 audio tracks, DD 2.0 and mpeg 5.1

what is mpeg 5.1 exactly? it only plays as stereo through my 2 front speakers, the same as the DD 2.0 track

is this because my home theater receiver is not capable of decoding this type of audio?

is there a way to convert this mpeg 5.1 to Dolby 5.1?

i just never heard of this mpeg 5.1, so thanks for any info
