ok, long story short, i got halo 2 for vista from my aunt a few days ago for a graduation present. I had time to install it and everything but I literaly had 15 minutes between the time of getting it and the time I had to leave to go on vacation with some friends. I put the disk back in the box and everything, and I came back and it is gone. Asked my mom, and she cleaned up our computer room, so now I don't even have the freaking disk. You might ask, whats the problem. well when i start the game and try to get into my live account it ask me for the product code. So thanks to my mom, I can't even use this game! I call microsoft and tell them my situation, and they tell me that they can't just give me a key, they have to have the part number on the disk (which supposedly are all the same, i think), which i can understand. the part number is in small text, i belive and somewhere on the disk.
so can anyone help me out and post up or pm me with the part number? that would be greatly appricated. thanks!
its a vista game, meaning if i want to use my live account from my 360, the key is going to get registered online. and no, there are no cd cracks for it at the moment, i don't believe. all i need is someone to tell me that part number, and microsoft will give me a new one.
i tried that and I couldn't find anything. and i didnt bring up the suggestion of cd cracks. like i said, i got this game legit and im looking to play it. all i need to do is get someone to just take a look at there halo 2 pc disk and tell me what the part number reads. thats it.
btw, i live in the usa, so a part number off a cd from the states might be needed.

i will. im loving the corss platform interface. like how i can pull up my dashboard and have private chats with my friends while im playing halo 2 on my pc and there playing on the 360. its pretty sweet. i especially like that i can finally get achivments for halo 2 :)
