What is the model of your writer?
Not just the mfg. like SAMSUNG TS-H552U.

What software are using to burn with? Nero, Imgburn, DVD Decrypter.

are you trying to make a copy of a copy? Seems like your DVD player/burner doesn't like your disks. the best DL disk out there is Verbatim! if you are using any other DL disk then it's inferior! if your burner acts this way with Verbatim DL disks then it has a problem with any recordible DL disk. Check your manual on what it can play/record! good luck.

Record Longer with Twice the Resolution
This DVD recorder can record an amazing 500 lines of horizontal resolution in LP Mode, which is twice the 250 lines of resolution offered by conventional LP Mode recording. What does this mean? It means that you can now record longer (4 hours on a single-sided DVD-R or -RAM disc as opposed to 2 hours) and still enjoy the crisp, vibrant images with exceptional detail that 500 lines of horizontal resolution deliver.
