Problems with Mario RPG with R4

I have a R4DS and use SNEmulDS for my SNES Rom needs. It seems to work fine, but everytime I try to run Mario RPG I get a white screen on the top DS Screen and nothing happens. I can change roms, and run other games but whenver I try that game all I get is the white screen.

Is there some type of glitch with that game that it doesn't play like some of the Star Fox games?

I have tried to different roms, both are 4MB in size.
