DS + M3 Simply - Wifi problems!!

I have this wierd issue w/ my DS (working w/ M3 simply hardware + roms).

When I try to go online w/ Picross DS, it work.
But using the same settings with most other ROMs (Mario Kart and others), my Nintendo DS can not connect (error code 51300).

What's going on? Are the ROMs trimmed to NOT connect online??

(This error code does not help me solve much on Nintendo Customer Support Website)

Actually reading more about the issue, how can I tell whether a ROM was trimmed or not (before downloading it?)or which sites are notorious to give trimmed/untrimmed roms, so that i can make sure i get the full package?
