Drive E: has Distribution CVD for Turbo-Tax.. Drive does not see the CD.
drive F: Has AnyDVD Software. and Drive can see the DVD


What are the upper and lower filters? Do I need to delete any software to fix the problem?

Also re-stalling the drives has not fixed the problem. Drivers corrupt? Drives gone bad?

Hi ;-)
A filter is a computer program to process a data stream.
In Windows this is usually a quite simple affair.
They are there to enhance s/w operations.
But sometimes can conflict with other programs.
How to delete filters.
