I've tried CloneDVD2, ConvertXtoDVD, and i think DVD Decrypter a while ago. But they all seem to give me an error dealing with compadability and i can never get the burning process to start

any pointers?

A firmware update for your drive may help. What make/model is your drive?

thanks, they read now

but it is burning a lot slower, even on my Verbatim. USed to take about 8 min, it's up to almost 30 now.

Your drive may have slipped into PIO mode. CHeck it is in DMA with this guide...

chris you may want to change the thread title also to Maxell instead of Maxwell lol.

yeah your probably in PIO mode when it needs to be in DMA mode you can fix that in device manager
