Hi guys
anyone know of any site where you can buy high quality mp3 up to 320kbps drm free.Was using allofmp3 until recently and mp3spark the new site dont seem to work for people in the US. Thanks.

well first mp3s don't contain any drm, so you don't have to worry about copy protected mp3s. secondly, the ripper used to extract the audio from a CD and the encoder used to compress the audio to an mp3 are far more important than the bitrate.

For example a CD ripped with something basic and crappy with windows media player encoded at 320 is going to be much worse than using a really good ripper like EAC (exact audio copy) and a high quality encoder like LAME. go to http://hydrogenaudio.com/ for more info on quality mp3s

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

I already use EAC and poweramp to rip my own cds so no problem with that bit.You still didnt mention any site that sell mp3.

I to used allofmp3. I then downloaded AllTunes which is the new application which replaced Allofmp3 explorer. AllTunes still works for me in the US. The problem was I could add funds to my account. Yesterday I found this on the Internet.

I followed the instructions and added $33 to my account and I am downloading again. I used PayPal to pay for this. You can only add $11 at a time so I had to do this three times. Check it out One thing to keep in mind. When I went to the CMPass site and tried to register it said the e-mail I was using was already used. So I tried to log in using my e-mail address and password from allofmp3 and it worked. This tells me this site may affiliated with allofmp3.com
