First of all I have 2 computers, one is a dell and the other I built myself. I needed to reformat the dell computer so I transfered all my documents and files to the built computer via 1gb usb stick (what a pain
as my dell doesn't have a dvd burner.) So I got all the documents over to the built computer and burned the documents to a dvd using nero. Now when I put the dvd into the dell the dvd drive doesn't read it. The drive is working fine. Do I need Nero on the dell in order to read the dvd?

Did you finalize the disc? One computer won't read an open disc from another computer.
