I need some printable DL for my 360 backups and I know that when using the regular DL everyone says only use verbatim, so are the Verbatim 95123 the only reliable available ones at the time? And is newegg.com the cheapest place I am going to find a 20 pack which comes to 52.98 including shipping?? Any help or recommendations would be lovely. Here is the link:

Best Buy runs sales on Verbs DLs as does Office Max. It's been many weeks since the last sale so one should be coming up. If you belong to Sam's Club they have a 50-pack that's priced fairly good.

DL media? Verbatim is the Top Dog!!!
A lot more issues with other brands of DL media like Ritek.I'm not sure of Ricoh DL media, but didn't see any printables for their DL.

I just checked Rima and it looks like they got the Verb 2.4x printables back in stock for $48.00 per 20ct cake box + shipping.

GOOD GOD! I finally bought me a pack of these from Rima.com. They are beautiful! They make my backups look like originals, the only difference is that you see the verbatim and DVD+R DL 2.4X on the inside of the hub. Well worth the $50 for the 20 pack!

I've recently got my hands on some printable RICOHJPN D01 067 coded DLs. Was told they are Moser Baer. They were $69.75 for a 45 ct cake box Plus shipping (which was expensive). These are Glossy, Hub-printable and Waterproof. Time will tell if I can get reproducible burns out of this media, though my Samsung SH-S203B seems to burn them well so far.
Here's an image of a printed disc, and a Ritek printed DL for comparison, comparable printing to a Verb DL.

Hey RunAmuck,
Getting off-topic here but I'll give you some info. First off, If you are looking to use these with the Xbox 360 someone else will have to talk to you about compatability.
With that said;
The Riteks are a 2nd or 3rd level media, depending on the MID code. There are 2 out there for the Ritek DLs, D01 & S04. The printable surface is the same on both. There's been alot of trouble with the D01s in the past, especially at the layer break. I've had fairly decent success with the S04s, the total PIEs and PIFs are higher than the Verbatim DLs but the Max's have been within acceptable limits.
The last cake box of Ritek printables I got were the DRD+858-RDIW40SD1 from Meritline, the 40ct tub with the "free" SD card, which happened to be the S04 MID. Doesn't have free shipping but shipping cost to me would be $7.70 via UPS ground, you do the math.
I'm routinely getting a 90% score on these Riteks via CDSpeed and they play well for movies. For comparison, I generally get a 93 with an occasional 95 score with the Verbatims.
btw, The bottom printed label above happens to be one of those Riteks.

Where do you find the "D01 & S04" info?
Will the Riteks play the 360 backups? or should I just spend the extra for the Verbatim Media?
Thanks again..

You get that information from a program like Nero CD\DVDSpeed that queries the disc once it's in a drive. You will not find it anywhere on the disc or label. You have to learn which MIDs generally come with what UPC or Mfr. product codes.

This I don't know, you need to find/ask someone with a 360 who has tried these discs.

That's up to you to decide. If you do go the Verbatim route, I'd make sure that the labels state "Made In Singapore", not another manufacturing site like India. People have been reporting issues with the India discs.
For now, I haven't seen or heard of any of the printable DL Verbs being made in India.
