I just purchased some Ridata 8x DVD-R hub printables and Ridata 8x regular printables and was wondering if they are any good?

The Hub printables code out as RITEKG05

The regular printables code out as MXL RG03

Are these any good?

Hubs were $23 for 100
Regulars were $26 for 100

I've never used Ridata and have always used TY's but I was not looking to spend alot and was looking to save a little.I bought these spindles from CDRDVDRMEDIA.COM and after numerous store comparisons I found this place to be the cheapest out there.I was surprised to see it was even cheaper than EBay.

poolpro-Around here you may get mixed reviews on Riteks G-05's which is what Your's Should code out as !Personally I've used them and Found them Pretty Decent media !!! Mine were Mostly Either Maxell 8x's DVD-R's OR OfficeDepots 8x DVD-R's Which were both OEM'ed { Made by Ritek for maxell & Officedepot )But are Ritek G-05's differing only from Riteks branded under their own name cosmetically !!!!! . You might still be able to find some Officedepot or maxell 8x Dvd-r Media here & there But mostly the stores generally only carry the 16x stuff unless they have some old stock ! Ironically Officedepot has 50ct. spindles of DVD+R & DVD-R on sale through saturday for $4.99 each Though they are 16x speed !!! I Bought 8 spindles myself ! Theese generally code out as RITEKS or RicohJpns which are both pretty good media though not in the Verbatim or Taiyo yuden Class !!!!!. THough if you are going to shop officedepot for media Stay away from The Disc Branded as ATIVA - This a secondary Brand name of theirs and not good ! ATIVA= CMC = CRAP !!! so stay with either Their own brand or a known Quality Name brand like Verbatim or Sony! Hope this was somewhat helpful !!!! Good luck poolpro& happy Burning !!!

Never had an issue with Ritek GO5`s, but many posters here are not in favour with them. I would think though that not all of them have actually tried them.

thanks for the responses guys. I usually always use TY's and Verb's. I have tried almost all other media manufacturers except Ridata. Hopefully my burns will be successful.

I know all about the MIJ in which it is the best media out there but I was just curious about Ridata.I'll give it a shot and see what my burns look like. Thanks again for the input.

Those MXL-RG03's are japanese discs, unless they are fakes.. That's the code for Maxell's -8x ,Made In Japan-by Hitachi!. If genuine, they are some very good discs.

Ritek-G05: Hit or Miss. Some dvd-rw drives don't like them.
