This is my first time trying to go from divx to dvd. I thought i was all done but my dvd was running slow - the audio was slowed down and the frames were skipping. So i went back to check where the problem came from and it was not the burning, but the iso that was created.

Steps and programs i used

VSO DivXToDVD (avi to folder "VIDEO_TS")
the folder files were running fine on my computer

DVD SHRINK (Folder to iso - no compression needed)
This is where i encountered my problem - the iso file was running slow

DVD Decrypter (iso to dvd)
the iso played the same in my dvd player as on my computer

---------------------------------------------------

So obviously i had a problem when i went from folder to iso.

then i tried Folder2Iso and the same iso came out - same file size same slowness

now i'm stumped. please help me.

Does this mean that after you created the .iso for burning, that you loaded it back into DVD Shrink and it played back slow?

If the .iso can be played back ok with the media player (like VLC) then it sounds like a bad burn, either too fast or poor media.

There is no reason to try to go to an ISO. Forget about Shrink and Decrypter. That's a very convoluted way to get a playable DVD.

Get ImgBurn and burn to disc directly from your your VIDEO_TS folder.

Your problem my also be divxtodvd if in fact you are using the ancient free beta.

Try one of these more up to date, superior free apps.
