Hi,
I Ripped A Film (A Real Copy) With 1ClickDvDCopy Software That All Went Well And It Gave Me A File Called VIDEO_TS Which Had 8 Files In It Called:

1.VIDEO_TS.BUP
2.VIDEO_TS.IFO
3.VTS_01_0.BUP
4.VTS_01_0.IFO
5.VTS_01_1 (mpeg file)
6.VTS_01_2 (mpeg file)
7.VTS_01_3 (mpeg file)
8.VTS_01_4 (mpeg file)

The Proble Is When I Click On The Mpeg Files They Wont Play In Windows Media Player. Is There Anyway I Can Convert All Those Files Together So It Will Play As One File. Or Away That Will Make It Play

All Help Is Good Help
So Plz Help Me Fix This Problem
Thanks

Download 'VLC', install, run, click 'file' and select 'open directory' and browse to the folder.

AutoGordianKnot will convert a DVD folder to AVI, however it's best set to run overnight as it ties up the PC for hours.

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64266

(Load VTS_01_0.IFO and select a predefined size or custom size.
If you select 699MB the resultant AVI file can be burned to a CD as a VCD with the likes of Nero or the AVI can be played back with WMP on the PC.

I think the default audio is mp3 (you can select it in the 'Advanced' settings.

Drag the AVI on to GSpot and try to see which codec it needs and if it's installed on the PC.
In the example, the video codec is XviD and it's installed.
The Audio codec is AC3.

You can also try to play the file using the buttons.

Hi,

I Downloaded Gspot Software.

As Soon As I Put The File Path Name In It Started To Do Something, In The Top Highlighted Box It Said Codecs Are Installed and The Middle Box Also Said Codec Installed Straight Away. All The Other Numbers Were Changing Aswell Then About 2-3 Mins Passed And Everything Stop. I Thought It Must Be Done So I Tested The Film But Still No Sound.

I Must Have Done Something Wrong.
Can You Please Tell Me What Exactly Im Suppose To Do With The Gspot Software?

Thanks For All This Help!!

GSpot simply tests the video and checks to see if the codecs which were used to create the movie are present on your PC.
If the codecs are installed, then when you press the buttons to test it, it should start playing back.
Since the video was created by AutogordianKnot, the codecs should be present.
The question is why no sound on your PC when you play it.
Assuming that the audio is mp3, can you play other mp3 files on your pc?

In my case the audio of the AVI file is AC3, Is yours not MP3?

If it is MP3, try installing the Lame MP3 codec.
If it doesn't help, it can be uninstalled from the Control Panel.
