Nero 6.6.1.4 Problems

greetings, my first entry here... hope you people are willing to help me with my Nero.
my problem is that I burn a data DVD, when it goes about halfway along the burning process, it fails and an error message that says "Could Not perform Disc-at-Once" appears. The 2nd time i use another DVD-R and burn the same thing, it says something like "....writing short lead out." kind of message and fails again.
