DVD Ripping By Time Only

Here's what I'm after.

I own a bunch of DVDs and what I want to do is take my collection one by one and capture only certain scenes (fight scene from DVD 1; fight scene from DVD 2; fight scene from DVD 3; etc. . .). After doing so, I want to put all the scenes onto one DVD so that I can play it in my DVD player in my living room.

Most of the programs on here and all over the internet are by chapters only. I can't figure this out. I'm looking for a DVD ripping program that will allow me to only "rip" by time or at least has an option to rip by time. Does such a program exist? If so, please share where I can download or get a program that will do what I'm after. Thanks.

One way to do that is with DVDShrink, re-author mode, and then save the scenes you want with the start/end feature. Then you can use DVDShrink again to put the saved scenes all back on one DVD. Similar to this thread, except you wouldn't have to rip the whole DVD to your hard drive first.
