my user account for my comp was deleted, and it had my folder with over 30 gb of stuff in it..... how do i get all those files back?

as long as no new large amounts of file writing/formating was done file recovery programs are still a option

p.s. use wikipedia to find out how file recovery works

undelete plus is a free recovery proggy,you need the non install version as this will stop you overwriting any recoverable files,there's also these,if any need to be installed your better off taking your hdd out and putting it in a external case or slave on a 2nd comp then install the program on the host machine and use that to search for the deleted folder

i have an external usb 250 gb harddrive, when i go to download undelete do i save it on the hard drive and run the scan from there?
