What Bilbo said is on the mark, these 2 brands have time and time again proven High Quality & reliable. As long as your Burner likes them. I may add that the made in Taiwan Sony's have done Very Well for me too. I would say that Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, and Sony would be the Top 3 to choose from. Just follow 1 rule, whatever the rated speed of the media is "For Your Burner", burn at 1/2 that, or 4x whichever is less and you should get Great results!
Example: You have a 16x burner, which suports burning Verbatim 16x media, burn at 8x. Also, keep your Burner's Firmware up to date! Whatever media works best for your setup.
