someone help, i know you get asked this alot and say read the threads, but i did and they are spread out like crazy. and there are so many different answers and people disagreeing. The problem i am having is that i want to play a japanese backup on my u.s ps2. i have the fat ps2 w/fliptop and swap magic 3.6. i read around and there were comments about having to change console ID and D.N.a.$ patching. i wouldn't mind changing my console id but where in the world do i get a japanese console and link ID from. but i still want to be able to play my other nonjapanese games and backups to. and will that damage or affect any thing by changing these things. i can't pass the BACKUP Dna$ TEST on a japanese backup. HELP............ps sorry for the rambling.
