HELP. Router problem

I have a NETGEAR DG834G wireless router, which worked in the beginning and stopped working and suddenly stopped working. I've only had it for a month. Now when I set it up, it doesnt detect my internet connection. I called my ADSL supplier and using their modem proved it wasn't their fault. What could be the problem?

try resetting the router, (usually a little rubber button on the back)

Yeah I tried that and then when configuring it doesnt find my PPPoA and asks for the static. Sorry if I cant explain myself well cause its for a friend who doesnt know english and im not too good at this stuff.
Ive tried with a modem and there it works with dynamic. Here it doesnt find it and asks for static which doesnt seem to work

Can you explain step by step how your setting it up, from logging into router to entering the required data.
