Seems several IPS have now been disabling the Bittorrent protocol in order to save their networks from overflowing bandwith. I use Azuerus Vuze mainly to DL trailers for upcoming movies, so its not illigeal. But anywho, is there a way around this ISP limiting BT protocol???

My up speeds is 0.

Down speed is 20kbps???

Is this the beginning of the end for BT, or is there a backdoor?

I work for a WISP, and we block the default port that official BT, azureus, u torrent, for windows and deluge and BT for Linux, it isn't the because of the content people download, it is because with all those connections (typically 100 or more connections per computer) it can eat a lot of bandwidth just to maintain all the connections not to mention the actual bandwidth of the files.

Have you ever considered using Utorrent 1.6 version with utorrent filter built in and constantly updated, peerguardian and a good firewall such as Outpost Pro (the best out there period).
