2) i got a v1.6 xbox from my couz but the weird thing is it dosnt hav a mod on the mobo but each time i boot it up it loads evox it dosnt show any logo during boot, i usually press the eject button to boot but it goes to evox dashboard instead of the ms dashboard and when i checkd the ini the crazy thing is, it loads its dashboard from e:\dashboard\default.xbe
then my guess is mayb its a softmod, i dont really know much about softmodding though,
recently i pulled the HD out of the softmod Xbox and put it in my other xbox that has a hardmod, and anytime i power my hardmod box on it will usu show the evox logo during boot b4 loading the evox dash, but wit the HD from the softmod in the hardmod box it just stays at the boot screen and refuses to load dashboard, i took it out to put it back into its mother only to show me error 05 and another time it will show me error 06,...Later on i removed it and put it in the hard mod xbox and this time it loaded its evoxdash, but i noticed during booting, my evoxlogo dint show <> but the softmod HD loaded to evoxdash like it does on its main xbox.
but the problem now is how do i get the HD to be working back on its own console??? ive tried to get its eeprom and HD password by ftping to the hardmod xbox while the softmod HD was inside to get the eeprom,and i used XBOXHDM tool to lock it, but it still keeps showing me ERROR 06 when i try to boot it up in its own console.. HEEEEEEEEEELP!!!:-?
