well, this question is more of a two-part, but with one being far more urgent than the other.

first problem is that as I was busy voiding my warranty and dicking around on the inside of my fat PS2, I accidentally "tore" the cord connecting the power/restart switch to the PS2 body. tore is a bit harsh, as it is more of an unplugged issue. That thing is like a trap! does anybody know how and where I can plug this thing back in? i'm going into FFX withdrawls.

Second problem is as I was busy voiding my warranty and dicking around on the inside of my fat PS2, I realized that I was having no luck with trying to play my PS1 backup with the "switch the real to fake on/before/after/two spins of the logo screen" method, and I'm not really feeling safe or rich enough to buy an AR-memory hack, a maxtor harddrive, a modchip, or even a swapmagic. so, is there any way I can use my backups with some old ps1 game lying around (been using crash bandicoot)?
