i am new to this forums, so firstly i would like to thanx all in advance!
i am very new to this downgrading thing and i think i got it all down but i would like to make sure before i go ahead and mess things up...
ok.. i have a 2.6 Firmware on my psp, and i think its not a TA-082 because there is cooper lettering but its on the left hand side.. (if your facing the UMD door). i cant tell wat it says, but if im correct the TA-082 is on the right.. [url=http://www.foxchip.com/plan/up/TA-082%20check.jpg][/url]
soo what im looking to do is downgrade to a 1.5.
from doing a little research i think the easiest way to do this is by upgrading to a 2.71 [url=http://dl.qj.net/Firmware-2.71-Firmwares-PSP/pg/12/fid/8046/catid/163][/url]

and then after doing that i am going to upgrade it to a custome firmware such as 3.40 O-E
and then reformat the mem stick and it will have ISO folder, then put iso games in there?
im really sorry for all that writing but i just really new and want to make sure i got this right.. and if this is safe enough to try.. thank you all in advance!
reallly? lol i cant belive i got it... i reallllyyyy want to thank you for answering so fast.. because im waiting on my pc till i get a yess so i can try it out. now one concern that i have is just upgrading and downgrading then upgrading again.. is it simple? or are there any tricky steps that i need to no about. other then that i have everything downloaded. and the psp 100% charged and pluged in!
o and another thing, i do know you need a UMD in the slot while trying to load a ISO but you dont need any sort of loader to load the ISO when you have the custome firmware?
and lastly is there any diffrence between 3.40oe-a and 3.52m33
or are they both the same?
Homam, I don't mean to be a sadist by saying this, but most people on these forums are assholes. They don't respond to certain threads that are original (not question threads).
Anyhow, more to your point, you asked a VERY VERY good question.
If you have done it already, I feel bad, because from 2.6, one needs to use GTA LCS to upgrade to 3.40 OE-A.
DON'T downgrade unless you must, that's all that i can tell you.
theres no trick to downgrading then upgrading. its really simple when you know what you have to do. and you know it. so i dont think you would have a problem doing it.
and you do not need any loader. you just put the iso in the ISO folder and start it in the game section of the menu.
im not sure about the differences. 3.40 OE-A i heard from alot of people that it can load more psp game than 3.52 m33. but that 3.52 can load more psx(playstation) games than 3.40 OE-A.
you choose wich one is better to you.

well thanx aloott people.. i gave it a shot, and did more research and followed all the steps to like 4 diff guides.. made sure everythin is right.. and now.. i got it working no problem!
and to top it all off i tried burnout.iso i had and it worked like a CHARM! thanx again guys!
and now i gota go ENJOY MY PSP, THE WAY IT SHOULD BE ENJOYED!
