pls i hav 2 important questions which i need answered b4 i go ahead..
1) is it possible to flash a v1.6 or 1.6b xbox TSOP?? ive search for guides and pix, all i see is infos for bridging points for versions up v1.5 xboxes and no infos for v1.6(b) xboxes.
2) Is it possible to flash a xbox 1.6b eeprom with a softmod HD?
my brother has a NTSC JAP {v1.6b XBOX i think}, with a sotmod HD, but rercently we removed the softmod HD and put a virgin HD that i had locked with the jap eeprom, it worked and booted to the xbox dashboard, but the problem is we dont hav nor can we get any NTSC jap Xbox games here, all we can get n hav here is NTSC U/C and PAL Xbox games, and the JAP XBOX will not load any of em and its saying INVALID GAME REGION.
So now im thinking to flash the eeprom with the usa eeprom i backed up from my other xbox. I hav tried flashing the eeprom wit an eepromer prog, and it says EEPROM write successful, i booted to the xbox dash again and i loaded an NTSC game and it still says INVALID GAME REGION., so i guess the eeprom flashin dint work. any ideas pple?? and thanks for reading.
