Hey All this is my first stop in looking for some help to build a pc just to playback DVD files (basically just run VLC). Ripping my library would be nice but I could do that on my main pc or wife's and transfer across my home network.

Looking for suggestions on case, mobo/processor, video card and anything I might have forgotten. Would like to keep the cost as low as possible too. Any links or info would be greatly appreciated.

Just want to be lazy and figure my DVD's might last longer less they are played/out of the case, especially those with multiple episodes.
