Hi I'm new in this forum and I'm looking for help about how to use cheats codes with backups in a PS2 slim with matrix infinity 1.9.1 clone.

This is was I have tried so far without any success.

1)Action replay max: This do not work with backups just with my original games.

2)Codebreaker no anti mod chip: Do not work with backups and at the when you try to load the backup game it display a message error "game did not start".

3)Boot Ulaunch from memory card and and use ulaunch too boot codebreaker elf from a USB: Codebreaker start from the USB but it takes a lot of time reach the "get more game" screen and that is all.

I want to use cheats for the Super Robot Taisen series but this are Japanese games and not sure is I can't use this USA cheats softwares.

What I need to do? I really want to use cheats in those games.

which codebreaker elf did you use. I have heard 9.3 being tested and worked fine off the memory card using ulaunch.
Once codebreaker is open, go to options and disable auto eject tray, then select the codes you want and start the game. Is that the way you tried it.
