I have been looking at buying the Vizio 52" GV52L LCD HDTV for my ps3.
I was wondering if anybody could give me some more info on whether this is a good tv and if vizio is good quality.
Any opinions will be appreciated.
Thanks

Sam

I own a VIZIO 42" LCD and i have no problems with it it will give you an outstanding HD picture also there is no burn in problem if you use it with games on your ps3 so i would say go for it

Does standard TV look as good as well on this TV?

I am currently looking for a 42" TV only for DVD and Standard TV, no HD at all.

I am looking at Vizio, Olevia, LCDs as well as Samsung HL-S5087W DLP.

In addition, the quality of Vizio LCDs looks very similar to the Sonys and Samsungs on the store floor--and the price is significantly lower, according to Patel.

"Say (consumers) have a budget to spend $1,000 on a TV. They could probably buy a premium brand 32- or 37-inch, or they could buy a Vizio 47-inch for the same amount," Patel said. "The low-price strategy is what's driving consumers to them."

I have three Vizio 42" LCDs at my tavern, they look fine with SD/analog Comcast cable (no box), but obviously things/folks appear a bit squat in the Wide mode, their Panoramic mode distorts the sides of the pic too much where as my older Panasonic's 'Auto' mode does a better job at filling the screen.

Looking for a new burner? Check here.

I own (2) Vizio tv's .....32in LCD & a 50in Plasma. Both look very good with HD signal. But I really like the way the Plasma looks. Definitely use HDMI or at least component but your PS3 will look nice on a Vizio.Something else i was impressed with is was the sound my plasma tv has.....of course, it's not home theatre sound but sounds very good.I got both my tv's at Costco, good prices.
