hello everyone... ive look all around the place for soultion to this problem but everything is too confusing and nothing really worked...
i have a psp with a custome firmware (3.40 oe-a) and i am putting iso's on it and everything works fine. but when it gets down to metal gear solid portable ops, the game just gives me a black screen. i no its not the game thats bad cause i downloaded many diffrent kind of porbable ops and they all do the same.

i dono if this helps but in the psp's recovery menu.. im set to 3.40OE-A not 1.5 kernal..

thanx in advance!

This may sound like a VERY simple suggestion, but make sure you are pressing Circle instead of X.

1.50 >3.30 > 3.50 > lumines > 1.50 > 3.40 OE-A > 3.52 M33

If you mean when you start it, it goes to a black screen.

You need to DISABLE NoUMD in the recovery menu, put a UMD in the tray, then launch it and it will play.
