I recently tried to burn Blades of Glory and dvdfab decrypter was processing the files at .90 mb/s. I upgraded to the most recent version and now I am running DvdFab HD Decrypter. Any solutions for making the program run at its normal speed? This has happened in the past and the way I resolved it was doing a recovery on my computer...dont want to do that again!

are you multi-tasking perhaps? Let dvdfab HD be the only program working and see what happens.

Yeah when I rip a dvd I make sure no other program is running. I have been doing this for a while and have had this problem before but I want to know if there are any easy solutions.

blades of glory caused alot of problems for some people. Have you had this problem with any other movies recently?

"Blades of Glory" has been a nightmare for me. It runs slow as a snail, and screw up my Gateway computer when done. For whatever reason it got rid of my DVD writer---I go to my computer to see the drives and after trying to burn "Blades" the icon for the DVD r/w drive was gone. It wasn't in my device manager either. I had to do a system restore (I am using Vista) and thankfully after restoring the system back a few days I was able to get my DVD drive back. DVD Fab seems to be working OK now, but they definitely need to make some sort of an update for this problem.

Just a thought, have you checked for a DMA problem? Slow ripping would be a symptom.

I tried the DMA option and it did not work. As far as this happening recently, it happened a few months ago and has happened twice before. It seems that when a newer movie with more encryption is placed in my dvd drive, it "installs" some type of virus acting problem on my computer that is only noticed when I run the DvdFab program.
