Please could someone help me unlock my Nokia 3220 so I can give it to my daughter to use

I was wondering if that code works for all Nokia 3220 phones or if it is different for each phone. I want so badly to unlock mine as well so that I can use it. I only got to use it for a month when I had to switch to cingular. Thanks

Hi Wendy, the unlock code is calculated using your phones individual IMEI number. If you try using someone elses unlock code it will give you an error message and you will loose one of your tries *you only have about 3 attempts to try and unlock it without a cable. You should be able to get it unlocked but you will have to start a new thread in the Nokia forum.

To get your phones IMEI number type in *#06#
write down the number you see on screen then go to the Nokia forum and your post should look something like this.
