Will these work on my psp i have got custom fireware or are these for diffrent consoles?

That's american region coding. Most consoles/video players etc have region encoding to make disks bought in another "territory" not work, because they're mean :P

The PSP has no region coding for games, only video, but on custom firmware the region can be tricked.

Hmmm, make sure your clock speed is high enough (300mhz/333mhz), and make sure that you havn't enabled something that would stop them from working; set all the options in your recovery to disabled, apart from Skip SCE and Hide corrupt icons.
