Please excuse any transgressions in my post - it's really late..
I have tried my luck with the related threads and not quite found the right one, so here goes:
I have a backup bin/cue image of a 700+ mb PS1 game.
I would like to put it on a DVD to play on my modded ps2.
Can it even be done? Can a dummy file be used to make the image DVD-suitable - files already contain a "stuff.dat"...or is it an insult :D
I ran the image on a PS1 emu and it works so no problem with the image. But burning at low speed with either A120 or Nero does not seem to work > ie. DVD is 'recognized' but the game won't boot.
Should I just burn to a CD - I have experienced that CDs damage the laser/lens of the PS2, so I'd rather not.. I did read the post that said burn w A120 and check..was it rectify sub-channel data?
