I connected my PC to my 52" HDTV Widescreen. I custom built my computer, spending $2600 on it, so it truely is high-end and can support any video. I have an adapter that plugs into the video card, then uses component cables (red, green, and blue) to the HDTV. At high res 1600x900, it fills the screen, but the font is so damn small. I boosted the DPI and font. It only works if its a Windows software. I ran Poker Stars, and I literally could even read the tables to sit at. I lowered the res, but the actual size of the video dropped. At this res, there is like a black border of a foot all around it. How can I have "lower resolution" but a full screen? Yes, I want my cake and eat it too!

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

I have the same problem with fonts on my TV. Not much you can do but increase the font size. I find setting your video card resolution to the same resolution as my TV or a close to it as possible works best.

If you do get that cake can you send me a bite?
