Just got the above and tried it with DVD Shrink and DVD Decryptor, it took longer than I thought - at least 40 minutes on each. New to the site, looking for a guide or something that can help me.
Thanks for your assistance.

Hi newbie3
If it's taking 40 mins a single layer dvd to burn sounds like the drive may be in PIO mode and not DMA mode. Here's a guide to check and correct it - link

Thank you binkie7. I checked and the primary and secondary are in DMA mode not PIO mode.
Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks.

Go ahead and follow the guide in uninstalling the ide channels - can't hurt and may help.
How long is it taking you to burn?
If you're getting ready to burn again -save the log from decrypter to post. Open decrypter and press 'L' -next time you burn decrypter will start a log that you can post.

Thank you binkie7! I uninstalled and restarted the computer. Then I burned a DVD using Shrink and Decryptor. DVD Shrink took 52 minutes. I don't know if this helps but the Decryption Status was:
E8:C1:83:82:BA, buffered around 161-163 MB, at 15% Encoding, it still had 50 minutes remaining. I waited oh so patiently, then got to DVD Decryptor, the below is the log (as you can see, it took 1 hr 20 min):

That is a long time!
Your average write speed was less than 1x.
The hard drive you're saving it to is formatted in FAT32 - mightbe causing some of the slow down since it doesn't support file sizes over 4 gig.
Do you have any room on another hard drive like say c (usually the hard drive) that you can save and burn the files from?

You're welcome newbie3
If this hard drive is connected by usb or firewire I'd try another port.
You might also want to format this drive to NTFS - should help the speed issue. You'd need to transfer everything off of it then format it. Pretty simple to do.
