Hey folks.
I was just wondering if it was possible to get something to use on the R4DS to allow you to play real old skool Nintendo games that were on the first Nintendo with games pretty much the same size as a VHS cassette.

It's called NESDS, compatibility is quite high, though some games do have problems.

Exactly, you can load the NES ROMs from anywhere on the card. :)

Yeah, NESDS has a filebrowser, so you can place the application in the root folder and all the roms in NES or whatever you please.
It's beautiful. And it works absolutely perfect for me, AND I USE A F---ING Max Media Dock. That says a lot.
SNEmulDS, I'd have to say otherwise... That's not the MMD's fault, though...
Bleh. I'll make a sig later.

Don't double post, hit the edit button if you want to add a question.
There is no GBA emulator for DS, and there never will be, the DS isn't powerful enough to emulate it. However, if you have a slot-2 cart such as the M3 Lite, or, if you have a slot-1 card as well, the EZ Flash 3-1, you can play GBA ROMs. There is, however, a GameBoy/Color emulator for ds, Lameboy 0.9
Super Mario Bros. 3 never had a save function, if you want to make a save-state however, tap the screen, go to Files, then hit Save save state.

Sadly not...
Lameboy is quite lame: You can't run it unless you set it to load on boot. At least for me and a lot of other people. >_o
Bleh. I'll make a sig later.

Blah, I don't know why.
It's probably because of Max Media Dock itself.
Go figure. :P

Sorry about the 2 posts, I did look for the Edit but I didnt realise it was a picture.
Did not realise that Mario Bro 3 didnt have a save feature [Face_Holycrap] lol
Thanks for all the help.
Gonna have to buy another Nes though as my one I think has packed up I got LOADS of classics.
I have some old skool systems
Spectrum ZX with and without tape deck build in (lol, games on tapes. Who knew)
Genesis (Megadrive)
Nes
Snes
Still have origional gameboy.
Got a 40" HDTV AND I STILL PLAY THEM lol.
Cant beat the old classics, but man the size of the games back then, you cant play them on a train or plane when you go on a long trip though lol
PS
Is whilst I am here anyway are there any good Genesis Emulators.
Would love to have a portable Dungeons and Dragons - Warriors of the Eternal Sun. One of the best games on the genesis.
