It's a Philips burner (i take it you mean has it been rebadged by another company) in which case i can't find hardly anything on the net about this drive, i'm guessing it's very new, and can't tell if the firmware is up to date

this link says it's a SATA drive though...
http://www.storageupdates.philips.com/en/dvdrw.html plus has no downloads listed, as i say i'm guessing it's really new..

yes like lite on or someone else.and it is very new just got it yesterday. i have been seaching and cant find anything.even the PHILIPS home page dont list anything

it works ok just wanted to know if fireware was up to date and who rebadged it .

guess ill have to wait
