not enough hard drive space converting avi files

HELP!!!!! every time i try to convert a avi file to dvd format,
i get a not enough hard drive space error. im running windows xp sp2,
i have over 200 gb of free hard drive space,my system restore is turned off, ive used nero vision 4 and the new vision that came with nero 7, and yes i uninstalled 6 before trying 7, my had drive file
system is set to ntfs, im using a hi quality dvd ext burner, and good quality discs also. so can anyone tell me wth is up????

Try DVD Flick and see if you get the same grief.

Is the HDD partitioned and are selecting the correct output path?
