My roommate today downloaded an anime ep from a tracker today and got it in about 5 seconds. He was using Azureus and it showed the speed (we both watched). It went from 2KB/s to like 200KB/s up to 2MB/s and kept rising til it was done. It got up to over 9MB/s!!!

Impossible for our line! We're going through a router split 4 ways, so theoretically his MAX speed DL should be 7Mbit/s if no one else is online, and should definitely not be > 1000x faster!?!?!

This happened with him last night too, he told me it got up to 4 MB/s on one file. I don't get it. I don't get that kind of speed.
