They are the "valueline" for Taiyo Yuden, which means the discs didn't pass part of their extensive quality control process to be rated "premium" but are still good enough to be sold under the Taiyo Yuden name.

The "valueline" from Taiyo Yuden is probably better IMO then alot of company's "premium" lines, like Memorex, Maxell, TDK, etc.

I prefer the hub printables, which I've just ordered. ;D

I bought them before and they are not as good as their DVD+R YUDEN002.

I didn't do compatibility checking, but in terms of burn quality, they did very good cause I only had a couple of burns which I consider bad. My definition of a bad burn is one that does not read on my 7 year old NEC DVD-ROM drive...

BTW, you are not guaranteed to get those 8x discs. I got 16x when I ordered mine. At the time the value line was 4x and I wanted value line cause I was looking for 4x discs.

I think the best deal was the one that ended yesterday which was $29 for a 100pack of their 8x DVD-R premium line with free shipping. There is probably $10 shipping on the 200 pack, so that's $50 compared to $58 for the premiums.

If it were $40 with free shipping, that would have been an insanely good deal!!! Even at $50 with shipping it is still maybe the best deal out there!!
